What is
Armageddon?
For yet a
little while, and the wicked shall not be:
yea, thou
shalt diligently consider his place,

shall not be there.

First I want
to explain what Armageddon is. The word Armaged(d)on or
Har-Mágedon ( Revelation 16:16 ) refers to the mountain of the
city Megiddo. Around Megiddo is the plain of Esdrelon between the
mountains. The city and the plain were for the Jews in the
antiquity of strategic importance. In the antiquity a lot of
armies have pitched their tents there, among others the
Egyptians, Kanaänites, Jews, Druzes, Arabs, Crusaders and Turks.
In the future
many forces of the Earth ( Gog from Magog and many with him,
Ezekiel 38:2-6, Ezekiel 38:11+12+16 ) will again be gathered for
a final war against JAHOWAH and his chosen people ( Zecharia
14:4+5 ). The following countries are mentioned: Russia, Turkey,
Iran, Georgia, Armenia, Libya, Ethiopia, Egypt. JAHOWAH himself
will intervene and save his chosen ones ( Ez 38:22, Ex 39:4, Ps
2:1+2 ).

So it was in
the days of Noah. Then most people said that Noah lied and was
crazy when he built a big boat on land and that no one can know
when something like the Flood happens. Sometime in those 40 days
after the Ark closed and the torrential rains came, all the
people who had not gone into the Ark and also the breathing
animals that had not boarded drowned. See Gen 6:18-20, Gen 7:2-4

But when is Armageddon
coming?
In Da 12:8b Daniel asks;
"Oh, my lord, what will be the last of these things?".
Da 12:11a state; "And from the time that the constant
sacrifice is taken away". So that's where we have to start
our calculation. In October 600 before our time account Jerusalem
was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon. The Jews
then went into Exile to distant Babylon (Iraq).
1. The daily (continuous)
sacrifice of animals in the Temple stopped.
2. Jerusalem and the
original Temple were destroyed.
3. The Ark of the Covenant
with the Ten Commandments disappeared.
4. The age-old fire,
ignited by JAHOWAH God, was lost.
5. There was no longer a
Jewish king.
Daniel 12:11 explains that
there will be 1290 days until a devastating idol is erected. But
after 1290 literal days, nothing happened. So these prophetic
days are really years! Often prophetic days are years. See
Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6. If we subtract from those 1290
years the 600 years before our time reckoning, we are left with
690 years. Because the year 0 does not exist, we arrive in the
year 691 our time reckoning. But what devastation bring idol was
erected then?

If we ask a Jewish, Roman
Catholic or Orthodox Christian resident of Jerusalem what
destructive idol has been erected, he will soon point to the Holy
Mount Moriah in Jerusalem. There, in the year 691 our time
reckoning, the Dome of the Rock was completed. The Dome of the
Rock was built exactly on the spot where the Most Holy part of
Solomon's Temple used to stand. Because this has been declared by
the Muslims to be one of their 3 most Holy places, it would bring
unprecedented destruction if it were to be demolished to rebuild
Solomon's original Temple here. In any case, I can well imagine
that many Muslims and many Muslim nations would declare war on
the State Israël if the Jews were to tear down the Dome of the
Rock that was only completed in 691.
Fortunately, the
rebuilding of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem is not wanted by
JAHOWAH God. The prophet Ezekiel wrote that the Temple will be
rebuilt on a very high mountain. De berg Moria is maar een heel
erg kleine berg.
In a Divine
Vision, He brought me to Israel
and put me
down on a very high mountain.
On the
south side was built something that looked like a city.
Ezekiel 40
verse 2
Daniel 12:12
explains that it will be another 1335 days or years from the
previously calculated year 691. If we add it to the 691, we
arrive in the year 2026.
However,
given that the Jewish year only starts around March, it could
also be early 2027.
There will first be a
great tribulation. Da 12:1+7
At that time, the great prince
Michael will rise
to protect the children of your
people.
For it will be a time of
TRIBULATION,
as there hasn't been one yet
as long as there are nations.
But all those of your people,
recorded in the book,
will escape during that time.

A good example of the
great tribulation is the tribulation that took place in the year
70 in Jerusalem. The Jews revolted against the Roman worldpower.
In the year 68 the Romans besieged Jerusalem. After emperor Nero
died on 9 june 68 the Roman army retreated. In the year 70 the
Roman army besieged Jerusalem again and conquered it. According
to historian Josephus around 1.100.000 Jews died. Only 9.700 Jews
were as slaves dispersed over the Roman . More then 99% of the
people in Jerusalem died in that tribulation. A previous
reflection of the "great tribulation" that is coming
3,5 years over the whole world. See Daniël 12:1
